Track your purchases, understand status updates, and manage your order history

Track Your Purchase

There are several ways to track your purchase:

From Your Account

If you have an account, go to Account → Purchases to see all your purchases and their current status.

View My Purchases →

From Email Confirmation

Click the "Track Your Purchase" button in your order confirmation or shipping notification email. Guest purchases include a special link that doesn't require an account.

Using Carrier Tracking

Once shipped, you'll receive a tracking number. Visit the carrier's website (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.) and enter your tracking number for real-time updates.

Purchase Status Explained

Pending

Your purchase has been received and is awaiting processing.

Confirmed

Payment confirmed. The seller is preparing your purchase.

Processing

Your items are being handcrafted or prepared for shipment.

Shipped

Your purchase is on its way! Track it using the provided tracking number.

Delivered

Your purchase has been delivered. Enjoy your Montana-made treasures!

Canceled

This purchase has been canceled. Any payment will be refunded.

Cancel or Change a Purchase

Because many items on 406 Makers are handcrafted to order, cancellation policies vary by seller. Here's what you should know:

Canceling a Purchase

  • Contact the seller as soon as possible through the order messaging system
  • Purchases that haven't been started may be eligible for full cancellation
  • Custom or personalized items may not be cancelable once production begins
  • If the seller agrees, they'll process the cancellation and any applicable refund

Changing a Purchase

  • Size, color, or personalization changes should be requested immediately
  • Message the seller with the specific changes you need
  • Changes may not be possible once crafting has begun
  • Additional charges may apply for significant modifications

Standard vs personalized offers

Some listings include a personalized purchase choice that reveals a buyer text field before checkout. Standard choices stay text-free, while personalized choices collect the exact wording the maker needs.

Note: Shipped purchases cannot be modified. You may need to initiate a return after delivery.

Common Questions

Why hasn't my purchase shipped yet?+
Many items are handmade to order, which means production time varies. Check the estimated processing time on the product page or in your order confirmation. Most sellers ship within 3-7 business days, but personalized items may take a little longer because they are finished to your specifications.
My tracking number isn't working+
Tracking information can take 24-48 hours to appear in the carrier's system after a shipping label is created. If it's been more than 48 hours, contact the seller to verify the tracking details.
I received the wrong item+
We're sorry for the mix-up! Contact the seller immediately through the order messaging system. They'll work with you to send the correct item and arrange a return of the incorrect one at no cost to you.
My purchase shows delivered but I haven't received it+
First, check with neighbors and around your property (porches, mailrooms). Contact your local post office or delivery carrier with the tracking number. If you still can't locate it, reach out to the seller and our support team for assistance.
